Love the shape and everything, but not sure if it's a good or bad thing that I wouldn't be able to recognize that as a Jaguar.

Exactly what I was thinking.
I would really like them to produce a new E-Type, or even a current XJS

Too slow and waste more gas for 99.999% of the population.
And the fact that 99% of North Americans only knows auto.

Please become a production car and the end product isn't softened up from this concept.

Tata has really been good for Jaguar. I just wonder if they will make an entry level Jag to compete with 3 series, C class and IS models.

Target will be Cayman. Would be a nice addition to the sub-$100K coupe crowd.

as long as it wighs less than 3500 hundred pounds it'll be wicked. well 3300 hundred would be awesome, but I'm tihnking it'll come in at 4000.
looks fucking great though, i love the tails

Cayman comes in around 3000. 3300 is a good goal with a V6. But if it can be fitted with a 8, I don't doubt it'll come in close to the XFR weight of 4000.

Very nice. Am I the only one who thinks it pretty much looks like a cross between the XKR and an Aston Martin?

Very nice design, i love it. If i seen one in person without any badging i would never ever guess it was a Jag, and i think thats what they seem to want in their new designs.

Going after the Cayman... it's going to be the 'smallest' Jaguar in a while. That's going to be really cool to see.

According to supercars.net, it is the smallest Jag since the XK120 in 1954.
