4th one down for me.

Interesting though, might try a few of them out.

to be honest though, when i first saw this thread, i was thinking "wow really? a thread for this?" now, not so much. i am intrigued...

Same but I might start with the 2nd down. That one's pretty simple and cool looking.

Usually 4th for me, although I also do 7 when it needs to be really tight and supportive, like with skates and rollerblades. I find it holds tightly on its own better so I can tie it without getting very loose.

Always used to use the second one down on my military boots, 4th down for the everyday shoes.

I can't believe it, my way isn't on the list. Its almost the same as four though, but the bottom two holes are connected from the top.

For some shoes I have that have external lacing systems with holes, I use the second one down.

For everything else, internal lacing and/or lace loops, it's usually the 4th one down.

I have been doing second from bottom for years, you need a certain amount of eyes otherwise it doesn't work right. And you always have long laces so you have to knot them and cut ends off.

3rd way down is pretty cool, but must take a while to set up.

2nd from bottom and 5th from bottom look rad!

#4, and the opposite for the other shoe. So that the laces on top make a V when the two shoes are next to each other.

Holy shit.... like the others I was thinking "WTF, a thread for this?"... but now I want to try some of these...

For those with the knots on the inside, wouldn't that get mighty uncomfortable after a while? I currently lace mine like #4, but I may switch to #2 after seeing that because it looks pretty awesome.
