I saw this on last night and thought to myself, "how ignorant is this". We are most likely not the only living beings in our Universe, especially with billions of planets within it, so we can't really call it Miss Universe until we have proven otherwise. Plus all the girls are too freakin skinny, hit the gym and eat more than a couple sticks of celery :barf:

Would you rather it be called "Most attractive woman in the universe, according to humans" pageant? Because if there *are* other beings in the universe, one would venture to guess they would not be deemed nearly as attractive to us.

Upon taking a look at the actual list, I would have to agree that there is some talent in there. I only watched about 5 minutes of it, and saw the final five, which all looked like they were starved.

I would rather it be called something like Miss World or Miss Earth, it would be more correct I guess. But saying that outloud just sounds downright lame :rofl:
