LF: Technician with mechanical experience

We are looking to hire a technician for our controls business.

Basically people with mechanical skills seem to do very well at it. It includes basic setup of controllers, replacing components (electronic and mechanical transmitters etc.)

Mostly in town with some out of town work here and there.

Normally 8:00 to 4:30 everything else is O.T. wages heavily dependent on experience.

Here is a more detailed description of the job.

- Calibrations, installations and setups of weighing systems ranging from large tank/truck scales to small laboratory balances.
- Ability to lift 20kg & 50lb weights
- Mechanically inclined (use of hand tools, basic power tools required)
- Familiar with computers (will be required to setup parameters in controllers)
- Class 5 drivers license (preference will be given to Class 3 license holders)

- Majority of work in town with very occasional out of town trips
- Will be required to obtain Class 3 drivers license to operate heavy weights picker truck (training provided)
- Wages completely dependent on experience
