Are all of the Model specific car forums out there all a bunch of "OMG we own the same car!!! We are the bestest deciders in all the land!!! No car is better than our car because we can mod ours to be super duper amazing!!!! Lets rejoice in our absolute general lameness!!" type of forums?

Personally I can only stand so much sugary sweet, we are the world, horse shit.

I may just be used to all the different opinions on beyond, as every one basically owns something different and will call something as they see it.

No one here (Beyond) sees the dumbest fucking mod on a car and says
"Rock On! Not my taste, but if you like it, that's all that's important, but your car looks amazing!!! Cause it generally looks like mine!!! YAY for us!!!"

No, beyond members say, "That looks fucking stupid. You look like a moron, but that's your call dipshit."

I thank you for that.

Can you word your question in the form of a question?

lol, basically car forums that cater to rep points or post count, seem to be full of nut huggers, who will fill up 6 pages of posts where everyone says basically the same thing.

You go looking for actual information and you spend all your time scrolling through people's "Our cars are best!" posts

I'd imagine BMW forums would be like that.

Yes, better. I understand now.

You like Beyond because it nut hugs less than a brand-specific forum.

OK makes sense now. It's because Beyond is full of fucking haters and we are so strong behind the computer. :D

I dunno, I am part of another forum for my vehicle, and I must say it isn't like that at all. There is a lot of interesting things with what people are doing and new parts/ concepts being developed by members all the time.

The only time I see someone get ragged on is when new people ask a question that has been asked already, and they don't bother using the search tools.
