I'm looking for a restaurant that have private rooms that can accommodate up to 40 people. All I know is Chicago Chop House, are there any more that you guys could recommend?

Salt Lik has a private basement, or they used to anyways. you can also book the upper floor of Anju for private functions.

Over-priced and overrated but I think West can also do big reservations.

I'll second Ruth's Chris.

They've got 3 different private rooms, and the service is second to none. I think for large parties, they make you have a set menu and there are quite a few options starting at ~$50/person.

Vintage Chophouse also has a private dining room but I don't think it can accommodate 40 seated.

BonTerra, I was there recently for a work function. Food was good and we had a private area for about 50 people.

If price isn't an issue, there's Osteria de Medici in Kensington OR La Chaumiere on 17th Ave SW. Both are highly recommended in my books and have their own private rooms. Been to both, only on company/business functions though due to ~$100/head, and each time there were about 50 people in the group.

I know they have a room upstairs for private function. Will definitely fit 40 people. But doubt they can do it in a formal dinning setting tho. More like a lounge setting.

Most hotels can accommodate if you are not too picky on the food quality.

I've heard people use La Vita E Bella if they want Italian for large groups. Be aware that there's a set menu that will cost $40 pp

Sorry for the hijack..

Do the majority of these restaurants that can hold large groups have to have a set menu for like ~$50/person?
