Out of nowhere I have this urge to go skiing. Given that I haven't been on skiis since I was in grade seven some 10 years ago, where would be a good place to go for some one that sucks. I also will need to rent shit too, so any advice on where to rent from. Thanks.

Downhill or cross country? The Nordic centre in Canmore is pretty good for cross country. Downhill there is no shortage of options, which I'm sure this thread will prove

COP for sure, good private lessons if you need to brush up, go during a week day, you'll have the hill to yourself to pound it out.

If you want to hit Sunshine Village, Abominable has a great rental deal where you can get the equipment and an adult lift pass for $60.

A regular adult pass is already $60, so it's like getting your rental stuff for free.
