Hello, where is the cheapest place to get a $200,000 third-party liability auto insurance policy?
I been accident free for decades. I don't usually use the car and rarely go far; basically its a standby for emergency or any very short notice runs (last year I used it like 5 times, for about 300km.)
Thanks

How old is the car? If you never drive it to work, and it's over 15 years old you can get DIRT CHEAP insurance with Compeition (it's supposed to be for Classic cars, antiques, modified cars, etc., but I don't see anything on their sight about not using it for beaters too, lol)

200k is probably not adviseable... I don't even think anyone offers less than a million coverage, most wouldn't write less than 2mil...

It really doesn't take much these days to rack up 200k in damage; take out a bus shelter, a good hit on the cable barrier on deerfoot, never mind another vehicle - and you're forking out - from your wallet...

Agreed 200k is a gamble for sure

What does 500k or a million cost if you drive that little? About $500? Not going to get much cheaper than that.

The price difference between $200,000 & $1,000,000 PLPD is usually only about 20% and it's 5 times the coverage. Just list it on the same policy as your daily driver. You'll trigger multi-vehicle discounts which should pretty much cover off the price difference between $200,000 & $1,000,000 on a stand alone policy.

Ya, you're pretty much fucking retarded to not carry at least a million. Have some stupid asshole that makes 70k a year step in front of you car and be hurt to the point he cannot continue in his same career, fucked for life.

100% agreed, I never go lower than 2million. 200k is playing with fire.
