I might still sneak another few hundred in, but it looks like I will finish the year at about 4,000. Pretty sad considering I have a 36km bike commute and I rode to work lots this year.

Post your stats here and your plans for 2012.

I plan to start riding road to Nepal 1-2x a week next year. I also plan to bike commute more - I'd like to have at least 5 weeks where I ride every day (I only did so once this year). A couple of Gran Fondos are in my plans too. And I only did Powderface once - that was my only MTB ride, so I have to do more of those.

For my first year back in the saddle in about 20 years I managed about 1300 km. I lost about 60 lbs. and managed a 100 km ride. I don't think that's too bad for an old fat guy! :)

WELL under 1000kms   :thumbsdow

Failed hard this year. Didn't race once, worked almost non-stop this summer, got the best of me and never really rode my bike.
BIG plans for next season.

I will be DONE school, so i'm going to quit all work, just work PT where i am currently, and devote my summer to racing.

Was getting a bunch of riding in before I left for Europe and then came back at the end of the summer and have been more or less a lazy sack of crap! I went out once, didn't even think about my tire pressure really and got double pinch flats within the first 5km with only a small patch kit.

Funny story about that, a fellow came and helped me as I didn't know what the hell I was doing, we tried to fix them and nothing. So he rode back and got my truck and I went home. Turns out, this guy used to race on the Canada team years back, so we shot the shit for awhile. Well, I more or less just listened - the guy was just a fountain of knowledge! So I know how to put on a patch and change tubes now! I guess that's something...HA

3552.12 KM - 124h 57m 35s
Pace: 28.43 KM/hr
Min: 76 Avg: 130 Max: 195

I just don't like trainer riding, and with kids it's harder to use the bike as transportation.

Had a such a busy summer, got nowhere near as much riding in as i planned -678km on the Stumpjumper, about 150km on the old Norco i use to tow the kiddie trailer, 90% pavement riding. Find it so hard to hit the trails. :thumbsdow Planned on getting a road bike this year....just like last year.....maybe next season.:D

That's an awesome average pace for that mileage!

Tracked - 3394KM - 153hr 40m

Beginning of the year I wasn't tracking too religiously, started tracking every ride in June.

And still lots of time left in the year - I ride all year. 35KM round trip commute daily, cut that to 18KM RT in snow - drive to a park n' bike.

Been riding since last August and haven't lost ANY weight.... I guess I'm where my body wants me to be. Or I balance it out with cheeseburgers. :P

Contemplating the ride to conquer cancer next year. Going to a meeting about it this week.

Edit 11/02: 3701KM
Edit 11/16: 4000KM
Edit 1/4: 4704KM

Due to a new computer mid summer on the mtb bike and also using multiple bikes, it's difficult to get an exact number.

Ball park I think it's been ~2500km

Probably ~2000km.

I'm a year round commuter, so that makes up most of that, but I just got my new 29er a couple weeks ago and plan on riding the crap out of it in spring :) I'm hoping for a couple more decent weekends so I can take it for some quick rips.

I had a brutal yr. Moved into a new house last December so had to do all the landscaping this yr. Also had a new baby in June. I was out twice this yr. Once on my mountain bike for some 25km and the other ride was my road bike for 50km.

Ended the year with over 4700 tracked kilometers, and that was with not tracking all that much at the beginning of the year.

Wow... don't think I put that many kilometers on my car...
