Have seen quite a few interesting cars on this trip, but probably the highlight was not only seeing a 1967 Toyota 2000 GT, but going for a ride in such a rare classic.
Not only was this car rare but pristine with only 13000miles!
Will let the pictures do the talking:

Edit: The more I look at it, the more I realize it doesn't really. It's just the nature of a sporty car with popup headlights back around that era.

The 2000 GT sounded great and drove great. I was impressed with how well it handled compared to some other cars of that era that I have been in. The car is LHD, and was reimported from N. America. The owner told me that to find a RHD vehicle that was originally for the Japanese market is rare, and one in this condition would bring huge money.

Got to drive a Toyota i-Real too, which is 1 of 7 in the world!
Pretty cool little vehicle, can do 30kph in the low slung running mode. could be really lazy with one of these!

I was thinking about it after reading this and I figure in the 1960s most Japanese didn't have the cash for a car like that.
