I kind of get where the OP was going. My dream car is an Aston Martin Vantage, but realistically, I can see myself getting into the Porsche a couple of years from now. The Aston... ehhh.... not so much ;)

I personally would rather have a 07-08 Vantage over a brand new Porsche. And they can be had for under 100K. Which isn't bad really.

He thinks about *your* hand when he maturbates. :)

But its true - why would I dream about a car I already have the potential of owning? I've wanted an NSX for a really long time but now they are getting so old I probably will never own one. I wanted a Corvette, so I bought (and since sold) it.

And really, a Gallardo isn't *that* far out of reach if I really really wanted it. I just can't justify the sacrifices I'd have to make to own it. So I guess thats what I would go with, since we're not "allowed" to dream too big.

(Although if we were, I think something like a Saleen S7 or Koenigsegg CCX would be pretty high on my list)

you're right, a lambo wouldn't be too far out of reach, but i think it's the maitenance that kills it. like $5000 oil changes, $10,000 brake jobs. i've heard outlandish numbers like that to keep maintenance on a lambo but i'm sure it could of changed by now.

Just had the oil changed on My Super G last week. I supplied the oil filter whichis about 100.00 and it cost me 300.00 plus tax. Breat jobs are only insane of you have CC brakes

Mercedes AMG E63 Estate.

I'm a sucker for wagons. I never want to own a car with a trunk again.

If we're getting crazier, ICON FJ44. Again, it's not really a price problem, with this one, it's a practicality issue.

Although, I must admit... Kijiji keeps telling me when a XJ12 or XJS pops up (theoretically a XJR-S too, but I've only ever seen one in Alberta). One of these days I'll get really tempted to see if one can't make one sing like a ferrari...
