Evergreen/Shawnee area......had about 20 kids so far which is pretty normal from what I've seen over the last 10 years here. Mostly little kids 3-5 years old.

Time to get armed and ready for any bastards that decide eggs belong on windows :guns:

Had about a dozen in Mount Pleasant. That's more than last year, but we have had two new families move onto our block.

4 groups of ankle biters... in scenic acres

Apparently were not on the route of "full size choco bars"...:dunno: taking the little one around the kids were cutting through the parks to cut time between the big bars... geeze young kids these days :) I just would have been out that much later...

I used to have big ass pillowcases and my dad following behind me with a couple extra pillowcases when I was little. Kids these days seem like they are to flippin lazy to work for their candy.

30 kids tonight at our door in Kincora... odd cause when I was out earlier with my son, there were way more kids around.

In Taradale?? when I lived there, I had no more than 5 kids at our door. The last few years we lived there we didn't even bother.

Used to live in Dawson Creek, BC (shithole), and not a word of a lie, I'd get 500+ kids. Almost every kid would try to go to every house, there would be gridlocked traffic on residential streets from parents driving their kids around to houses for candy. It was insane

I went out for about 20 minutes with my kids, so no one was home. Seemed everyone else was out at the exact same time. So afterwards, only got about a dozen kids to our house. This was in Cranston.

Kids these days just have a tiny bag filled and they are done, plus half of them act like it is a chore with long sad faces.

:werd:

I don't even hand out candy anymore. When I hand out full size bars and still here kids scoff at it, I give up. Halloween is supposed to be fun, I'm not obliged to keep little Johnny fat.

11 ppl, 6 were actual kids under 10ys/o, 4 were POS preteens dressed in hoodies ffs (which my gf basically told them to fk off - they weren' t the 'come back and tp your house' type either) and what must've been a 17-18 y/o chick by herself, i'm glad we told those 6 kids 'take as much as you can grab in one fist', great plan because they think they're getting a great deal but they have tiny hands lols

i want to be 'that guy who gives out full candy bars' one year tho, maybe after i move away from pre-teen hooliganville

Well, I'm in a cul-de-sac with a bunch of people who kept their lights off, a couple of which were out with their kids just like me mind you. So most kids were going around the circle and went right by the cul-de-sac. So I imagine those houses saw pretty high numbers.

The Halloween of our youth is dying.

I was at work, but my wife said we had 8 kids while she was home. 3 of which were 14 year olds, but they were dressed up and with their 6 year old brother, so it was cool. She went out at 9pm though, and said just as she was leaving there were about 20 Filipino kids coming up the cul-de-sac... good thing she wasn't home because we only bought one small bag, knowing we only get less then a dozen kids a year, lol.

My street had a maze and haunted house at the end of the block, they were doing a fundraiser for the Alberta Childrens Hospital.

I had the sign on my lawn since I'm the corner house on the main street so I was swammped.

9 boxes of candy and 3 bags of cheezies in 40 mins, one candy per kid except babies and empty baggers that got 2.

Threw some Caramilk bars at the milfs and older sisters waddddduuuuuuuuppppppppp.

We only had a pair of kids come by. That said, we were also out for about a hour so we could take my kids & their friends around the block, so we missed a lot of the initial rush. We were home at 7:00pm, but just one pair of kids came by, that's it.

This is in Ladysmith, BC. Lots of retirees in the section of town where I live and many are gone south to the US already, so many dark houses.

Was surprised. We had a few more kids last year. When we lived in Sandstone, we used to get about 40-50 kids.

We had 76 kids over in Evergreen, but same thing here...alot of the neighbours had their lights out.......

I actually had a lady come up with her two kids....she said "We had to pass your house last year - the kids were too scared"...

hahahaha.....must've been the Halloween themes soundtrack blaring out the top window of the house....it apparently carried down the street quite well....:D
