The car's always in the south because Marc (Alpine Autowerks) lives down there... he's been driving my car most of the summer :D.

damn that thing has nice gear ratios... dont know if it just seems faster cause im driving at the time, but i run 15's and im in third gear before you shift to 2nd..
and i just barely need to switch into 5 by the end of the run and my max trap speed is 93
But thats damn fast... you have a roll cage ?
cause i know they kick people who run 12's ... or is that 11's

haha yea, I wanted to make just 1 run, but my first run only boosted 20psi, and I ran a 13.0@113mph. At that point, I was like, DAMN gotta be a member of the 12 second club! My 2nd run with the big 1st gear bog netted another 13.0, but at 115mph. Then I ran a 12.9@117mph. I stopped at that point (Marc tried a few runs), but my right foot got itchy, and I made 2 more runs. 12.8@116mph, 12.7@117mph. Fun night, but I think I beat up my tranny a little bit too much :D.

It'd be fun to run with brad, but he's making a bit more power than I am. Our cars weigh the same (2950lbs for me) so it'd be pretty close if he runs street tires :D. I don't wanna try slicks, already gone through 1 tranny 2 years ago, and Porsche trannies don't come cheap.

I wish I had longer gear ratios, my 1st gear is pretty useless as seen in the vids. That's with the boost turned down by 6psi in 1st! Too much wheelspin... The Viper has nice ratios, 1st gear hits about 55mph!

I don't have a roll cage, I have a full interior with stereo/subs, etc. Daily driver (even in winter). They boot you off if you run 11's without a cage. It'll be tough to hit 11's on street tires.

20mph differences isn't anywhere near close. Nearly 2 second difference isn't close either.
