Don't worry, the sun comes up at 10 AM these days.

Jordan, what sort of ball-park price are we looking at here, and where is it located?

Address of colours is 135 13th ave sw. This unit i was able to grab prior to coming on the market. This unit sold for 350k. IMO its worth that and more based on the floor location and views.

If anyones interested in this building and wants to be updated with new active listings please shoot me a PM with name, cell and email and Ill add them to the Colours listings.

350 furnished? Really not digging the interior finishes on these units, but other than that looks great.
Still quite happy with my buy over at La Rive on 1st street and 25th ave SW.

Very nice. The baseboard heating system ruins it for me a little bit. :(

I wish they would put more money into the kitchens.

Looks like something you would see in a cheap rental apartment.

Not to be a prick cause its a nice place, but people REALLY need to stop decorating with that IKEA "art"

why? landscapes, skyscrapers etc are always really nice to look at, it doesnt matter where they come from.

i like the lofty feel of it, but i cant get over the fact its 350k considering what i have for only 30k more, despite it having an amazing view.

It's just tacky imo to see those same pictures (new york , audrey hepburn etc) in so many places. I like a little creativity :dunno:

yeah like the mid 70's era apartment buildings that you live in when you first move out or an older motel in a small town.

but also, wouldlivein/10

Better than nothing, and better than spending a pant load of money that you may not have (or may have) on decoration.

Personally, I think the pictures are great in that apartment, but that's just me.

Wow, I really like that place! Makes me want to move back downtown again if I have to dump my place.

Ah too bad it's not as close to downtown as I want it to be.

I'm looking for a place like this (perhaps less windows, but love to have a similar view) with close proximity to LRT (a block or so)

No Glare down here! :D

Haha nah I really like the condo actually. The heating is a little ghetto but I think the rest is solid.

One question I do have is how loud can you be in a place like this?

Thats the main reason I don't think I'll ever consider a condo, I'm loud as fuck. I like to have people over, play music, watch tv loud... I'd be a horrible neighbor.

Colours is such a nice building for what you're paying. The views are good cuz theres not too many other building as tall to obstruct your views. Corner suites are ballin!

I have been debating a high-end condo but I am scared of buying a place next to someone like you.

With the sound proofing in these buildings you would have to be pretty loud to annoy your neighbour. I have an all out entertainment centre with subwoofer and I play music at least 10 hours a day, plus movies, video games and people over. My neighbour hears nothing and I don't hear her exercising on her trampoline, nor her dog barking.

So then how would you know...?

Also, they have curfews for some buildings regarding excessive noise. At least, from what I heard.

Exactly. It goes both ways.

Sure if I could afford a penthouse and be able to tell everyone to go fuck themselves if they had any noise complaints then okay, but since I don't think that is in the cards any time soon, a detached home seems like the only way to go for me...

I'm the one who just purchased this place and I'm pretty stoked to move in. I didn't know I was a "view" guy until I stepped into this unit, but that was definitely what sold me. The walls of windows definitely make it feel bigger than the larger 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit that I am moving from. It's a corner unit with walls on the North and East, so the glare shouldn't be bad (hopefully).

Colours was exactly where I wanted to be because of the location and the lower condo fees. I'm happy with the level of interior finishings, but then again, I am a 22 year old single guy, so having a Subway across the street adds more value to me than a high end kitchen does.

I've got nothing but great things to say about the buying/selling experience with Jordan. He sold my old place for me and worked hard to get me into this place when I fell in love before it was even listed. If anyone has any specific questions about my experience with Jordan please feel free to PM me.

That looks like it is a great value. I will have to look into this building! I don't really care about cooking because A) I am working through all 3 meals of the day and B) because I am sure it could handle my pathetic cooking skills.
