so as the title states, I was watching bbc invisible worlds and they had a pistol shrimp on there. It stated that the shrimp closes its claw so fast that it creates a bubble that reaches temperatures as hot as the sun. really? I thought I understood the concept of cavitation but apparently not hah. Is it getting so hot because theres so much pressure from ocean above or what?

heres the link just incase i didn't upload it right

I thought it was about a thousand degrees less than the sun.
