Hi,

I picked up a new Asus Maximus Extreme Motherboard (qx9650 CPU)

I get PID configuration error sometimes on boot and push f2 to load BIOS defaults, Asus says their new firmware fix that, loaded new firmware. the same thing

But this only happens when I reset the bios (by taking out the battery /and or pushing the CLEAR CMOS on the back of the computer.

When the motherboard does turn on , I make a change in the CPU settings to change fan speeds or just anything , after it saves it the computer is suppose to shut on/off . it does this but when it turns on the second time it just black screen UNTIL I unplug it then it MAY boot normally.

I tried new battery, reflashing. etc. I paid 200 for this motherboard and ASUS says it will not warranty it .
