Question for Japanese movie buffs

im taking modern languages 2900 at UofL, the class pretty much consists of "experiancing japanese culture through film".

anyways, any of you japanese speaking people on here seen "Minbo"? your thoughts and opinions, i have to write a 2 page essay on it. It should be pretty easy, but im a white boy so i might have a different perspective. :D
