How much is 5500 Romanian money (lei)?

I have 5500 Romanian money. It's at least 10 years old. I found it in some old boxes.
One bill says 5000 cinci mii lei
The other one says 500 cinci sute lei

Anyone have any idea what this is worth?

Ya I did google it I just didn't know if that was accurate. I thought someone on here maybe had a better idea. Maybe the currency has changed or something.

Try CalForex, they usually have better rates than the banks as long as it's over $500.

Lei is the old money and it was almost worthless. They now still call it lei but it is the ron. As far as i know the Ron doesnt come in a 5000 denomination so you have the old Lei.
