Sunfire done up?

I was crossing Anderson today when I saw the Sunfire go by me that was slammed. Body kit/custom paint/rims/dual exhaust. Its sure different. I dont like talkin smack about cars so I'll leave it at that. Wish I had my cam with me. Anyone seen this car around?

Ya it was 2 colors. Im not a big fan of 2 color paint jobs. And Ive never seen a kit on a sunfire. Not my car of choice either. But it didnt look terrible.

I don't mind it. Atleast it's a little different. I'm starting to become a little more partial towards other cars just because civic's are soooo overplayed. haha, helps that I drive a neon too :D

However, even under all that paint and modding.... its still a sunfire. Just like no matter what I do to my car, it will always be "just a civic" :)

i cant see someone investing that much time or money into that car... each to their own i suppose.

Have you guys seen that black sunfire in the NW?? Its all done up with rims, a kit, shopping cart spoiler, and the dual exhausts too. I know the guy and he said he has a performance chip in there, new manifolds, a ram air, and some other shit I cant remember. We raced a while ago, and surprisingly (for a sunfire) he managed to stay within half a car length behind me till I hit 3rd gear. :nut:

That car isn't so bad. I dont know about his choice of colors on the exterior, but it looks pretty unique. The interior colors are pretty sweet :thumbsup:

Hrmm, haven't seen a black one but I have seen a red one. It had a HUGE body kit with a big spoiler and the hood looked like it was off a WS6 Trans-Am ;) (Well, the style looked similar with the Ram-Air scoops). Pretty loud exhaust too, but I was pulling out of a parking lot while he was heading another direction so I didn't get to see how fast it was :)

I had to drive my friends black 99 Sunfire GT last night because she got hammered. Everything in that friggin car rattles! :nut: Definatelynot my first choice for a car.

The interior looks pretty cool though...

hah i remeber racing some yellow sunfire that got an exhaust and i think maybe a kit but thats about it .. he got his music booming but for some reason my auto Stratus beat him w/ about 1/2 a car length

3.8 Liters actually. And yes, compared to a 115hp sunfire (not that there is anything wrong with a Sunfire) my car is fast. By any standards.

The reason i said "surprisingly" is because I've raced 2 sunfire GTs (150hp) before and none of them managed to stay within a few carlengths of me for long...let alone till 3rd gear.

I've seen that sunfire alot in the NE. It looks better in those pictures than it ever has on the street. But props for alot of hardwork and money.
