Maybe you can go to Future Shop or any store like that and ask if it can be done

With DSM's I know it can be done...Just get a datalogger with a PC output...and your laptop can then "Act a Fool"...

Except for when you blow your welds off your intake...cause there is nothing the Mad Scientist can do for you then Bro...Sorry...:dunno:

Please, if you don't have anything useful to contribute, then don't contribute at all.

I have hondata and you can use a laptop or a plam pilot to do this. you can also tune and ajust settings like rev limit, shift like etc. What car do you drive?

If you have a VW/Audi, you can get a VAG tool and do it. Works with laptop or Palm device. Cord and software is approx 200 usd.

The program you'll use depends upon the ECU installed in your car. Ford guys like to use Tweeker, I use the Holley Commander 950 s/w in my cars, etc.

The computer they use in the fast and the furious is a standalone EMS system. You can also use a piggyback system which is more user friendly.

The piggyback runs off your stock E.C.U. whereas the standalone replaces your E.C.U. completely. The drawback to the standalone system is that it requires alot a labtop and lot of computer tuning. I have heard the instruction book is as thick as a university text. Although, you have more options in tuning. You can run different templates for Street, Strip or nitrous applications with a touch of a key. The only thing i have seen at futureshop is the fold out dvd player. You may be able to hook up the labtop to the back of the dvd player i never looked into it but it worth a try. Have fun.

make sure you get one that has anime cartoons of people biting their steering wheel when you are losing the street race
