Hey everyone,

Im looking into a set of coilovers for my car, but I am quite unsure what to look for. Can you give me some advice, mabey some good brands, or what exactly to look for in a set?

Thanx

A good brand name of coil overs will give you a quality ride. They come as just adjustable springs or both a matched spring and strut/shock pkg. Name brand coils are also progressive rated.
Tanabe, H&R, Eibach, Progress, Ground Control, Tien, are all good, just to name a few.

Just don't cheap out on suspension...

I'm very happy with the Ground Controls that I have. They are very easy to adjust (I can raise or lower the entire car in about half an hour). And they're good value.

Tunerworks actually has some going for pretty cheap. Not sure about the 2003 Jetta application but their website says 1985-1998 VW Golf/Jetta $499.

Your the third person who whas told me that ground controls are a good brand Richard. They must be pretty awsome! I was looking at an FK brand, but no one knows anything about them, and they cost about 1100 bucks for a set of coilovers. Ive heard that this is a little steep, but Im not sure.

If I were to ever consider coilovers...i would go with the Ground Controls...know a lot of people who are using them...and none of them have anything bad to say...

For your Jetta I would definately recommend Ground-Control or FK Full Coilover
