... with Lotus Renault GP! 2 year contract!

This means that we will have every single world champion in the last 12 years on the grid next year at the same time! 6 WDC's over 12 years, driving in the top 5 teams. Epic!

Great news... as he didn't exactly impress on the rallying side of things. I wonder how he'll get adjusted back to F1.

No word on his teammate? I'm interested to see if Kubica will be coming back to Lotus after this announcement.

So it looks like (but hasn't been confirmed) Petrov will take 2nd seat and the option for Kubica to come back will be there. Good for Lotus, shitty for Kubica :P

It's been confirmed that Romain Grosjean will return to take the seat along side Raikkonen.

I feel bad for Bruno a little bit - he's had it rough.

Well at least Petrov's career was filled with one big highlight.... Abu Dhabi 2010.

Always amazes me how drivers form other disciplines think they can just jump into a WRC car and do well (Raikkonen and Rosi, among others). It doesn't work like that... I think Kimi finally figured that out!

Raikkonen crashed out of a snowmobile race in Austria and was treated by paramedics and cleared of any serious injury. He was released with a sore wrist.

I guess Renault drivers can still do what they want in the off season... haha.
