Where can I find these locally? Going boarding on Friday and want to pick up some protection before I destroy myself the first day (seems like I forget how to board over summer haha)

I don't have any shorts at all haha. Thinking of making an investment. I see I can get some from SportCheck, but was wondering if there is another place, possibly cheaper haah

Online?

You might be able to find some Underarmour overpriced shorts. Or customize a couple pairs of rugby scrum caps

Yep I got a pair. I bought mine from Source but I saw them at Sport Chek yesterday.

If you're learning I would also suggest knee, elbow, and wrist guards.
you can usually rent them at the hill for a small fee
Your ass is naturally padded so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Knee pads and wrist guards for sure. My elbows I didn't notice too much.

I wouldn't say I am learning, this will be my 4th season, and after a ton of wipe out, i am actually pretty decent, but would like to start getting into some more extreme stuff like jumps ect. I always find myself wiping out on my ass or face, so I think those are the places I need to protect most.

I don't have any of the other equipment mentioned, so probably will go with the snowboard specific stuff since its the only sport i do.
