2008 Pilot Navi issue

Just bought this 2008 Pilot EX-l with navi 2 days ago. First issue, I got the dealer to give me ver 6.92 nav dvd to update the 4.92 that came in the vehicle. However when I put the DVD in it says "the disc is older than the downloaded software, please check disc". Any ideas what the issue is? Thanks

Try to manually download it. This is the process for my 09 Accord, I'm sure the Pilot's system is quite similar.

1. Press Map, Cancel, Menu simultaneously.
2. Select the second option (not self diagnosis)
3. Select version
4. There will be an option that says "download"
5. Click on it, wait for it to load.
