Anyone familiar with dunhill lighters?

MIL gave me her old one; it's supposed to be 14k gold rollagas, bought in london in the 60s...

Went to see if I could find details - unlike zippos, it's almost impossible to find anything other than James bond always used them...

I'm rather confused, you'd think it'd be obvious as to which version it is - but... I can't find anything online to identify which version/k/etc...

Does anyone know where to find the info/happen to collect them?

Andy

I did find this on eBay? :dunno:

Yours may not be solid but I seen other old ones on there too.

Yeah, range from 50$-15000 for sale, but depends on whether its plated or solid gold or painted and era and... fawk...

I know from my zippo collecting days, there were huge websites detailing every little difference... That doesn't seem to exist with dunhills... Heck, the only thing on this one is the dunhill logo and the patent#

A Tallboy model I would say.

Looks like a typical rollagas model - those were more the big coffee table petroleum lighters (white gas/ zippo etc)

Only shop in town allowed to sell dunhill lighters/accessories

I bought my Dunhill lighter at Calgary Jewellery it's a special order item with a 3 month wait (made to order). Actually all I buy are Dunhill products (belts, wallets). They have exceptional products at a good price. Yes you are right it's rollagas.

Do you have any of your collection left that you're selling?
