Are there any shops in the city that can do an APR stage 2 or 3 tune for a MK6 GTi ?

concept1 does apr, tunedub does unitronic.

I suggest tunedub and i am sure there is a unitronic program that would be very similar.

Stage 3 isn't a tune it's a turbo upgrade around $6000. You can do stage 1-2 apr at concept one it will go on sale a couple times a year for about $800. I would do stage 1-2 if I were you it's a decent upgrade giving you around 260hp. Too lazy to look up the numbers

If you're planning on keeping the car for a long time get Unitronic Stage 2. If not then get APR Stage 2. Later if you want to go all out Unitronic is easily upgraded to stage 3, APR is not upgradeable.

This.

And as noted above Tunedub does Unitronic and George really knows his stuff. I've had nothing but great experiences at Tunedub in the past.

I'm not too familiar with unitronic, but how do they stack up against APR ?

Very similar. Slightly more aggressive, but very very similar.

Biggest difference is that you cannot up grade past stage 2 with APR

C-1 is alright, few idiots that work there but always quick to correct mistakes and very friendly.

Avoid Revo, and calgary autoworks for that matter.

Happy Holidays all, another quick question - Any suggestions for a mechanical LSD and quick steering rack ?
