It's a Christmas miracle! One of the drives in my RAID0 volume on my desktop just started reporting SMART errors, so it miiiiight be time to replace it.
Now, it's a 750gb array, and I'd like to replace the whole thing with one drive. I'd like something in the 1TB+ range. I understand hard drives are expensive, so don't feel you're going to enrage me by offering something reasonable, but I would like to pay a bit less than new drive prices.
Maybe if somebody's upgraded, they might have an old(er) drive to sell? Doesn't need to last forever, just needs to get me by until I can afford to replace it with something for reals.
Tl;dr: I need something SATA, 3.5" and >= 1TB for less than a brand new drive.
