Syncing Shaw with Android

I have my Shaw email account setup on my Android phone and it works well enough for receiving and sending email. What I'd like to do is sync it, such that, when I delete messages on my phone it also deletes them from my mailbox, a replied message on my phone shows replied on my mailbox and so on. Is this possible?

The phone carrier is Telus and the phone model is a Galaxy II X.

Is it currently synced using POP? I think you need to sync with IMAP to be able to do what you want.

Not sure if shaw supports IMAP though, but you can try this.

Shaw rolled out a new email system around Nov/Dec of 2011. I believe that it's still in "trial", so you'll have to sign up to migrate your email from the old system to the new system and it's a one way migration, you can't roll back.
