Hello All,

I normally do not write reviews, but thought I would share my rather negative experience at Rajdoot restaurant, located on 4th Ave and 25th St. SW.

Order was placed for pick up at 7:40pm
Consisted of: Beer Vindaloo, yogurt, 2 somosas, sheek kabobs and 4 naans.
Told the food will be ready in 20 minutes.

Arrive at restaurant at 8:10pm
Food is not ready, told to wait 5minutes, 15 minutes pass, guy says 1 minute.

8:40pm Receive food, the vindaloo is missing and there is no yogurt.

Told my a very impolite staff (no apologies) too wait 10minutes. 20 minutes pass again
9:00pm by now food comes out, this time the somasas have disappeared and are replaced by pakoras.

I ask for a refund, no one answers, then some guy who was making drinks asks if i want the transaction reversed.

I take my money home and stop by thai thais.

As shitty as that experience sounds, I still laughed a bit inside because it happened to you. Fuck your hat you little crybaby.

Sincerely,

Your best friend JR.

This restaraunt is relying on a reputation that was built by its previous owners. It's been sold at least 3 times in the past 10 years now. Going downhill ever since the first sale.

I agree with jdmakkord. The service has been going downhill over the last few years. I used to go there all the time, but have slowly been trying other Indian restaurants in hopes that I can find one that I like better.

So far Namskaar on 16th has been getting our business because they deliver

^ Hard to find a good east indian place here in town. I've been to Rajdoot a few years back was pretty damn good. I haven't tried it since.
I think Namskar was the last E.I. place I went to that was decent.

Any other good recommendations?

Mirchi is good but damn overpriced, but then again I find all EI restaurants overpriced.
