It used to be ridiculously easy but last I heard they started doing the exams in person as opposed to online.

I'm going to go with stupid because he has 2 threads asking the same thing.

Not to mention the thread subject doesn't make sense; even the question he asked doesn't make sense.

Like wtf is this goof going to find easy.

It's easy, but not a free ride like it used to be.

Honestly, if you put in 2-3 hours a week you'll have no problems, this class is all about practice and if you cram last minute you're toast.

Exactly... I took this class a few years ago, didn't realize that they changed the final exam to in-person until 2 few days before. Went in with a 98%, left with a C+ haha.

i'm in this class. it's definitely easy, but it's pure memorization, obviously. a bit of effort = easy A imo.

i got an A- without studying in this class, i just put some effort into making a good cheat sheet because the final was in class, but quizzes and midterms were online from home so clearly book was open

more info here: http://forums.beyond.ca/st/111877/creative-cheat-sheets-post-yours/

below is my cheat sheet, click link above how to decipher, it got me 76% on the final, my buddy got 88%, the finals were random questions for each person from a data bank, he got lucky :)

Took it spring 2008 and there were no cheat sheets allowed in the final. I would recommend against it if you don't deal well with mass memorization.

Edit: Correction, I would recommend taking it, but dropping if the outline says no cheat sheets in the final. But honestly in a class about base/prefix/suffix memorization wtf are they doing allowing cheat sheets...

just take a class you find interesting. you're pissing away 600 dollars, might as well get some value from it

Unfortunately that isn't always an option. When I was at UofC I had 5-6 courses a semester. Two options necessary for my degree. In first year, the only options from the list which fit my schedule were an Econ course or an archaeology course. Neither of which interest me.

For my other option I waited through both second and third year in the same situation, the courses I had to take filled my schedule, ruling out almost all the acceptable options. I decided to do something in spring (while working), and GRST was online so it wouldn't even have to affect work.

I'm sure you can work around it. I took a class on saturdays (rels 201) because i didn't want take an econ class. it sucked ass coming in on saturdays but the class was super interesting...
