Apprentice tax write off

just wanted to know what all can you claim on your taxes as an apprentice?

i know you can claim tools up to a cretin amount
and tuition

what about travel to and from school ?
gas ?
car repairs ?

Tools can be claimed for the full amount. School expenses are covered as well but you will only get a percentage of it back up to 500.

Best thing to do with this kind of thing is to use turbo tax, and get the audit protection. With this you just plot in all your data making sure you carefully read all the options and it will do the rest for you.


Just make sure you keep all your receipts, parking tags..etc..
