E-mail address banned?

I tried updating my Email address on the profile but when I type in my gmail, it says that my email has been banned. I don't think I ever used my gmail for beyond at all. Can any mods help me with this? Thanks!

I believe the email has to be registered like telus, shaw or a work email. Ones like hotmail, live, gmail are not accepted/banned.

I thought they lifted that restriction back when they closed beyond to new accounts?

Although, they did open that up again.

Stand corrected - tried new account thing out and most definitely doesn't like gmail account (different one) now. Sign-up rules must be different than FAQ.

All you have to do is send an e-mail to one of the mods with the new address you want. I'm using Gmail.
