ok, i will have some body panels painted for a car show, and unfortunately they wont have the month to cure, besides wax, can i use any shining agents on the panels which wont do anything to the paint/cure process, such as 'showtime'?
it would need to be on for the weekend, afterwards i can wash it off if necessary.

give me some options, thanks!

wax is a big http://www.preludeonline.com/images/nono.gif if you haven't let your paint cure properly yet.
Actually I wouldn't use anything on new paint except good ol' soap and water.

I think showtime is wax isn't it?? (Mothers one)

But ya if it was freshly painted then you shouldn't need to wax it.

Meguires gold class quik detailer...its a spray on mist. Meguires were on shade tree mechanic..or what ever it was called.... they said you can use the stuff on fresh paint.

you can't use anything that will seal the paint. the paint needs to breathe to cure. Anything that will let the paint breathe should be fine. Best though to ask the painter, they would know best.
