The area in Dover/Southview right off 34th AVE and 26A ST SE.

There are a few newer 2 story homes with double attached front garages with the bonus rooms. Sq.ft around 2000.

Thoughts on this area? It's only a couple streets of newer homes. This area has my interest because the homes are a fair size and the location. You are minutes from Deerfoot. Here's the listing.

Aircraft have about as much impact on that area as they would in the Hamptons. Not much at all.

Of course, Valleyview is no Hamptons... lol...

I don't think I'd pay that kind of money to live that close to sketchy Dover.

I remember a couple years back, there was a house that asked $990 000 or something like that in West Dover

I could see that area slowly getting classier, but we're talking 10 years or longer, not 5.
Good luck!

HAHA I know. Well you know the ridge area along 26 ST SE with City views is even more :bigpimp:

The same house in New Brighton would be about $400K.

The same house in Renfrew would be $850K.

Location is everything. :nut:

Exactly. People stay within their own house and yard. Other than your immediate block, who cares whats around you.

Valleyview has nice houses. Backs onto greenspace. And 10 minutes from downtown. Newcomers to Calgary would have no idea what "Dover" means when coming into the ValleyView neighbourhood.

I've done about a dozen houses on this little subdivision.
