There's a place at the Farmer's market that sell's ostrich meat and eggs. You'll need to place a special order for eggs though.

Do you happen to remember the vendor name? And this is CFM and not Crossroads, right?

I'm curious as to what the meat would taste like.

Well then, I'm even more intrigued!

Is it gamey and lean?

go try a burger at Burger Inn they have ostrich burgers there. I don't know why it's no popular it's very lean. Tastes like beef as mentioned not anything like poultry. Ostrich steak is like veal..very yummmy

and I would love to know how much an egg is going for? I know when we had them years ago they were about $15.00/egg, my mom would buy one for Christmas breakfast then we got them free when friends had Ostrich on their farm in Ontario.

Won't sell the eggs due to health regulations so i'am told.
Stay tuned for my breakfast.
It's amazing what begging can get you.:D

They don't lay eggs like chickens so i'll be waiting for a phone call.

Try microwaving a box of wine, now that is cool.
