Cleaning Grout

I was wondering if any of you have ever tried to clean coloured grout? My washer has had a slow leak from the hot water hookup and it was quite obvious since moving the washer that this has been going on for quite a while. Since the leak was so slow, I didn't notice any problems until there was white staining coming through the grout at the front of the washer. I have since fixed the leak, however I have quite a bit of what I assume is calcium buildup on the grout from the water that has gotten under the tile and evaporated through the grout. I will leave the washer pulled out from the wall for a few days to help evaporate any excess water that is still under the tile.
