So, having picked up a new ride for the GF, it's time to get rid of the totally-not-a-beater that's in our parking space. It's a 1995 Grand Am with the 3100 V6 (sporty!), and just like any other of the eleventy billion min-90s Grand Ams, it's showing signs of age. There's some paint flaking off some of the wheelwells, the ABS light is on (I assume it's disabled, it's been that way since she bought it), the A/C is dead, and there's a minor coolant leak at the heater core fitting in the engine bay. It probably just needs the clamp tightened (heater core is only a year old) but it's been too cold for me to deal with it. So that's the bad. The good is that it's been well maintained mechanically while she's had it. Over the past few years it's received a new alternator, water pump, heater core, CA bushings, balljoints, wheel bearings, and other assorted bits. It's gotten her from point A to point B very reliably. Please note that the winter wheels and tires are NOT included with the car - it will be sold with the stock alloy wheels and all-season tires. The winters can be purchased separately.
The price to own this piece of magnificence? $500. I could go to $450 without the stereo, but any lower than that and the junkyard will take it for less hassle.
