Im getting more ram for my buds HP laptop. This is it

It says the ram is DDR2 SD ram. I thought SD is desktop and notebook is SoDimm? I go to the Mem Ex site and look up the notebook memory, it is all SoDimm. I look up the SD ram and the sticks look rather long to fit in a laptop.
Im guessing this is an error on amazon site? I tried to look up the laptop mode on HP site but nothing came up.
