Remote Analyst

Position Overview:
Our ideal candidate is an energetic individual who prides themselves on resolving challenging business and technical issues for a wide variety of clients. Working with a strong team you will be exposed to a wide variety of technology and client needs allowing you the opportunity to expand your knowledge quickly in a supportive, collaborative environment. The successful candidate will support our clients through various means including over the phone, remotely and onsite while working with desktop.

You will be responsible for:
•As a single point of contact provide an extreme customer service experience for a wide variety of clients.
•Support clients by spanning Tier 1, 2 and 3 support responsibilities including engaging external partners or vendors to remediate client support needs.
•Share knowledge and provide assistance across clients as needed.
•Stay up to date on current and past incidents to maintain the highest levels of customer service.
•Work to improve infrastructure processes.
•Write technical materials as needed.
The required skills and experience for this role:
•Work effectively individually or as part of a team with great interpersonal and consulting skills.
•Minimum 3 years IT experience with an emphasis on Microsoft technologies.
•Solid proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and 2008, Standard and Small Business Server Editions; Active Directory; IIS and Exchange Server.
•Experience configuring and troubleshooting Blackberry Enterprise and Professional Servers.
•Experience configuring and troubleshooting a variety of Antivirus, Antispam and Backup software packages.
•Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft Office products.
•Experience configuring and troubleshooting network connectivity, including inspection of routers and firewalls.
•Strong English language (oral and written) along with good organization skills.
•The ability to research and apply knowledge effectively.
Additional skills and experience that would be beneficial in this role:
•Previous experience working with Cisco telephony solutions and Apple computing products.
•Experience with Bomgar Remote Support Software or other current remote support tools.
•Current Microsoft, Cisco or Juniper certifications.
•Post-secondary technical education.

Tier 2/3 Technician

The successful candidate will support our clients through various means including over the phone, remotely and onsite while working with desktop, server, telephony and networking technologies.
You will be responsible for:

As a single point of contact provide an extreme customer service experience for a wide variety of clients
Support clients by spanning Tier 1, 2 and 3 support responsibilities including engaging external partners or vendors to remediate client support needs
Share knowledge and provide assistance across clients as needed
Maintain accurate and timely reporting of system status enabling you to propose relevant improvements to each client environment
Work to improve infrastructure processes
Develop and maintain technical materials as needed

The required skills and experience for this role:

Work effectively individually or as part of a team with great interpersonal and consulting skills
Minimum 5 years IT experience with an emphasis on Microsoft technologies
Solid proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and 2008, Standard and Small Business Server Editions; Active Directory; IIS and Exchange Server
Experience configuring and troubleshooting a variety of virtualization products including VMWare VSphere, VMWare ESX and ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V and Citrix XenServer
Experience configuring and troubleshooting Blackberry Enterprise and Professional Servers
Experience configuring and troubleshooting a variety of Antivirus, Antispam and Backup software packages
Experience configuring and troubleshooting network connectivity, including inspection of routers and firewalls
Strong English language (oral and written) along with good organization skills
The ability to research and apply knowledge effectively

Additional skills and experience that would be beneficial in this role:

Proficiency in one or more of the following products: Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SharePoint Server, Citrix XenApp
Previous experience working with Cisco telephony solutions and Apple computing products
Experience with ITIL or ISO 20000
Current Microsoft, Cisco or Juniper certifications
4 year computer science degree or equivalent
