Appliance Repair ??

I can hear my fridge being on buy it no longer provides cold air inside. I had to throw out most of my food in my fridge.

Can anyone suggest someone who can come assess if this can be repaired or if I need a new fridge?

What kind of fridge do you have and how old is it? I just went through this with my GE that I ended up fixing myself by getting knowledge from this link: http://appliantology.org/forum/4-the-kitchen-appliance-repair-forum/

There are a few repair places in town but they are bloody expensive. A major one was $80 just to get to your house and then 1$ per minute thereafter to diagnose and repair. Chances are they wont have the parts required so it s a return trip $$$...

Check that link above as the main guys on the board are super knowledgeable. Chances are they have dealt with your models problem before...
