View Full Version : Engineering Control
I was just wondering to all the engineers out there what methods of revision control you guys use?
Is it 3rd party software or homegrown?
Revision control seems to be a hot topic, but I have never had to deal with it...
Post up what you guys use!

We used TortoiseSVN at my old work. It's free.

Git don't bother with SVN it's got all sorts of weird bugs/issues.

Typically or traditionally, isn't revision management a function of the Document Management group? It's usually just a spreadsheet or within a design tool I.e SPI or if you are integrated then maybe SPF or Lifecycle
