Just thought I'd share.
My dad is working out in Bahrain and is more of a bike guy than into cars. I've been bugging him to get out to the track in a fun car and he just emailed me this. I'm so jealous, he gets an F1 race track at his disposal and our shitty Racecity goes down:banghead:
Pretty sweet deal comes out to just over $300 bucks for that track day experience event.
This is the details of the event from one of the organizers:
Its about 2 hours in total. They have an early morning group (around 9am) a late morning group (around 11:30am) and one or two after noon groups. Based on availability you can select the group of your choice. Weather is great and any time would be good.
You would be driven around the Club Circuit track (also known as inner track) in a Mitsubishi Evolution for about 5 or so laps with the instructor giving tips on driving, breaking, turning, etc. Then you get to drive the Hyundai Genisis for about 10 laps with an instructor next to you guiding you. Finally you would get to drive the Caterham on your own but would follow a lead car (for safety reasons) for about 10 laps. When done, instructors will take you out for a few hot laps in the Caterham which is great. You can also get taken out on a few hot laps in the Chevy Lumina but for an extra BD12

I need to make a trip over there to visit. Just wish my cars could come too. Political unrest and oil money has its advantages:burnout:
