Here is a breakdown of where the roughly 10 k in upgrades is from:-

-Boomerang tracking ($500.00)
-Viper alarm ($500.00)
-Full Apex-i coilover suspension ($2500.00)
-Full stainless steel DC exhaust ($1200.00)
-DC ceramic 4 into 1 header ($700.00)
-Clutchmasters stage 2 clutch ($800.00)
-Clutchmasters 8 lb flywheel ($500.00)
-AEM cold air intake ($400.00)
-AEM fuel rail (useless but looks very cool !!! ) ($250.00)
-B&M fuel pressure regulator and gauge ($250.00)

I have a few other little items that are not worth mentioning and add all the taxes and labour. I know, I could have cut better deals but I just don't have the time and I deal with two shops whose work commands the extra labour rates.

Maybe, the upgrades may not exactly add upto 10k as such but it's pretty darned close. Trust me, I hear it from the Mrs all the time !!! :-)

Anyway, I have receipts for everything. No lies here.

I thought about parting it out, but it would be a real shame to do that. The car is setup just perfectly. It has just the right amount of upgrades without taking away the sweetness that you get with a factory original car.

If I have no luck selling it the way it sits I'll look into the arting out scenario.
