So I took my e46 BMW HPF Stage 2.75 to the Streets of Willow road course and completed over 60 laps; 44 of those were logged...for w/e reason I'm missing my last session of the day...oops! My best times for the day when it wasn't raining was 1:32 and after I had dialed in my camber, compression and rebound a bit I was consistantly running anywhere from 1:32-1:34.

First I will say I was extremely happy with my suspension, tires and brakes with the way they've performed...this is my normal street driven setup and I've had quite a few miles put on the tires. Hoosier's will be my next tire for the road course as after a few laps the NT05's felt like they were holding me back a bit...still did very well and extremely controllable. Dan Law @ DERmotorsports was on the phone with me pretty much all day with how to setup my suspension for the track...if anyone needs an awesome guy who knows his stuff shoot me a PM and I'll send contact info...pretty good for a Saturday and I bought the coilovers back in the summer. Can't say enough great things about him.

Brake pads were new to me and I'm very happy I stepped up to a full race pad for this event...zero fade the whole day with one session being like 13 laps?

I have a log of every lap and have 4/5 sessions of gopro footage...when I get enought time to encode I'll match everything up.

This was my second track day ever with this car so lots of room to improve with everything...DSC remained on the whole day with traction control off... I remained in 3rd/4th as I had some issues shifting down into 2nd...felt like the gate wouldn't open for me but I was probably trying to shift down without rev matching and it locked me out. HPF traction control was off the whole day as DSC was much safer...the earlier laps were all wet laps and the afternoon I kept DSC on to keep me in check as it was very easy to get the rear end moving out. Still lots of room to improve all the way around.

Also I was using an application called Harry's Lap Timer mated to an external GPS with 5hz polling...my lap times on the iphone were dead on with my transponder lap times...I will overlay my videos as I go through everything.

Anyways here's a sample video...I'll get more up when I have the time. It was in the morning and had a light drizzle (Lotus in the video shooting fireballs is Turbo'd):

Well here's the last session of the day...its sort of Session 5 + an extra Bonus session. This was my music on session so...it is what it is lol. Playing with an ESS Supercharged M6 for a while, we were pretty much even...fast/nice car that's for sure.

Also here is the comparison of Harry's Lap Timer to the transponder used at the track...results are pretty solid...product works excellent!
