Imporn tuner is good if your underage and need a good smut mag. Personally i like Sport compact car and turbo and once and a while Super street has something that interests me but not enough to get a subscription to it.

all depends on what kind of car you have and what sort of mods you're interested in.

me for example hate all the honda magazines, but really enjoy euro tuner. and i'm sure its the opposite for most people here.

I find you got to change magazines or else it gets pretty repetitive.

Sport Compact Car is the best IMO for technical descriptions. Turbo is also a branch off them so it's also very good. But the same magazine does get repetitive.

I just like super street because the guys who write it are hilarious, but there isn't really any technical stuff in it

I love it.

I like European Car as well, but it is not as much of a "tuner" mag as some of the others. I actually prefer my smut and cars to be in separate mags.:nut:

Sports Car International!

"Tuner magazines" with neon cars, slutty whore models, and 80 ads per page are the worst.

you guys will all hate me....
Muscle Mustangs And Fast Fords........my bro owns a 5.0 and I am a ford fan....
If it has to be imports then SCC is the best but they are all ads.
Imprort Tuner sucks because they dont know enough about cars and have no projects
Super Street is all ads and rice
SCC is ok because they have more than just freakin civics in the damn magazine;)

most of them are crap!... i find myself flipping to the "do it your self stuff" and the articeles of new products... other then that im done reading the thing... like why should i care what the feature car is, its not my car im not gunna race it why should i care how much he spent on the car...:whocares:

SCC "sport compact car" is my favorite. They have alot of technical write ups on everything. They have a bunch of physics geeks that explain alot of car know how in ways that i can understand. I think its the best compact car mag if you really want to learn somthing. But if you just want some barely clothed sluts get somthing else.

I used to be a big fan of SCC. This month's issue is the first i've bought this year and i wasn't tpp impressed...HCI and Modified used to have quite a few technical articles...haven't looked at either lately though...

What I get each month:
SCC - most "professionsal", you won't find show cars in here
SS - very JDM. only magazine that features cars from Japan.
IT - mostly show, pretty nice cars though
HT - for Honda people...

Sometimes I pick up HCI, Modified, or Turbo. And then PA&S just sucks.

scc is the most informative, and entertaining, european car is good, but i find their articles are a bit long-winded and i actually find myself getting bored of reading it

Personally, I pick up SCC, IT, and SS every month... have been doing that for 4 years now... also pick up the occaisonal Modified, HCI, Turbo, Road and Track etc.....

They are all the same thing in the end (adds for parts you'll never want/afford, girls, a few hot cars and then some questionable bastardization of a car [see IT's cover integra 3/04 for proof])

If you want to look at show cars, go with IT...

Cars you can't afford, go with SS

Cars you might be able to afford, and decent Tech info, SCC

sure they are repetitive, but if nothing else, it gives us car people something to aspire to...
