I'm doing some computer upgrades and it's probably time to swtich OS. Even though I love XP, might be time to install Win7.

Anyone know where the cheapest place in Calgary (or online) where I can buy a Windows 7 Home DVD is? Don't need retail, OEM will be just fine.

Memory express is always great.

Check out their website to see if their prices are in the range you are looking for. Definitely below retail copy price last I checked.

Try Memory Express or evaluesoftware.com

Have a friend who has a student email account? Buy a upgrade copy for $40 then do the registry change to unlock it as full copy for activation.

Not required... AFAIK, any Win 7 key will work to do a full install. Once you have a key, look for links to the disk download from Digital River, install from scratch, and activate.

Price has gone up quite a bit though since they first introduced it and it was something like $65?
