Hi, at 12:30 am on march 21st someone hit my girlfriends black skyline gts-t right outside of our apartment complex the renaisance across from the centex gas station in midnapore and then fled the scene. One of our neighbors in the building said she heard the crash and saw the car but could not get the license plate of the car. She said the car was a darker red and was older, which doesnt really help. But we found shattered silver bumper under the car where it was hit, so if anyone happens to see an older red car with possibly a silver bumper and is damaged anywhere on the car please write down the plate and possibly take some pictures if possible and call Sasha at 403-852-9596

I saw someone on facebook suggest asking Centex if they have video surveillance.

Damn dude, I was involved in a Hit and Run, I went to a place that might have a camera, and those fuckers just blew me off. It was a complete piss off, but what can you do. I even tried chasing the mofo with my car, but he spun me around 270* and before I could get in traffic, he was gone.

Anyways, maybe you will have better luck with Centex, I am sure they have cameras, also you might want to go check as soon as possible, because it is possible that they tap over old videos?

Also, along the street there are a lot of shops etc, so it is possible that even one of them have a camera. You have a description so try to see what you can do, and see if maybe the totem has a camera etc. As long as you can find the car on any camera's and get a plate, that would be killer for you.

I am not surprised that a place would blow you off when you asked to see/have their footage. I think you need to get the cops involved and they'd be more inclined to help...

Most places I find with cameras don't even record, just monitor live. :facepalm:

However in OP's case, most likely it should be recorded. Whether or not it's in the camera's view is a big if.

Maybe scout out the Dixon's parking lot for a week or so, could be someone from the neighbourhood who thinks they've gotten away with it and just keep rolling on their daily lives.

Yes it does :( why?!?!?! Out of all the cars on the street did it hsve to be MY car?! Not that I want anyone elses cars to be wrecked but my insurance wont allow me to fully cover my car because its jdm. I remember I left my car over night in the parking lot right infront of weaselhead pub (insight of their camera) and came back to a nice crease in the passenger rear door. Even though a friend of mine was a waitress there, they would not release the footage, probably because it was one of their good customers. Even though the police knew they had a camera, they wouldnt persue to retreive the footy.

I sure hope you have better luck finding the asshole that hit your car!!!

Jesus, i'm dating myself as prehistoric here, but when Centex was Gas King (and i worked there for over a decade during school), the budget rental booth had cameras everywhere.......maybe try them.
Possibly autovalue too pointing towards the street...

I doubt the southgate cameras are still on - since they've moved into their new location.

I live in the Solea condos across from Centex. Our parking garage door has been obliterated twice in the last year by somebody driving right through it. I've also heard of several other hit and run type situations along this stretch of Bannister.

I'm wondering if the proximity to Dixons pub has anything to do with it?

I know, as I was reading posts prior to even noticing it was Squishy and not the OP. I was just making fun of the fact that it was the first thing I thought of as I was reading the post.

After seeing so many posts on Beyond over the years with requests for pics of gf, it was just the first thing that came to mind.
