Hey Guys,

Where's the best place in town to get valve covers painted Honda Type-R red, closest color/texture match as possible ?

If you looking for powder coating 'Calgary Powder Coatings' is pretty good, they did my cage and valve cover

what is a typical price for this service? (i know im asking quite a general question)

I was thinking about getting my rims done black, but only if its under... 200 a rim?

i know there is a place in red deer that does rims 50-100 per rim so i dont see why it would be that much more here

Why not use VHT wrinkle paint? The finish is pretty close

If you want the wrinkle finish, pick up some vht wrinkle paint. Lots of honda guys use this to get close to the oem setup. Spray and then bake it.

I talked to Metalstrip & Coatings here in Red Deer, to blast and powdercoat it would be $75 a rim for matte or gloss black on a 17" rim.

last i checked calgary powder coatings was about 150-175/rim....for this price, it might be worth making a short road trip to red deer to have the work done! total savings of ~$400

Check out Rhino Powdercoating. They do alot of stuff for me, and always turns out good, and fairly cheap.
