Description :

For sale is my fully loaded, truly mint condition 2009 Cobalt SS Turbo, I am selling the car because I am now at a point were I want a dedicated summer sports car and a dedicated winter car. I can honestly say though that I will miss this car, it is an absolute blast to drive.

For those of you that don’t know the Cobalt SS/TC was made from 2008-2010 (previous versions of the Cobalt SS had the supercharged engines) and only in limited quantities (only 3168 coupes ever made). It is an immensely capable car especially around a track, there is no Sport Compact (FWD) for sale in North America that can keep pace with it around a track and it even embarrassed some heavy hitters around the VIR track (EVO X, STi, 135i, S2000CR…) source: http://media.caranddriver.com/files...-lap-2008-1.pdf. I am the first owner of the car and the engine break-in was done properly per the owners manual and the car has never seen boost on a cold engine. The car has been properly maintained (have all receipts and records), it is also lightly and tastefully modified with only the best parts for the car (also comes with all of the stock/factory parts should the buyer want them). The car also has the balance of the Factory Warranty (June 2012 Bumper-to-Bumper and June 2014 Powertrain). The sticker price on this car was 30K, it has every possible option. There are no liens on the car, it is fully paid off.

Since I've bought this car new it’s been hand washed on a bi-weekly basis and hand waxed every 3 months, as a result the paint is in truly fantastic condition, there are no scratches, dents or dings anywhere. The windshield is also in great shape with no cracks. And the interior has no scratches, tears, rips or cracks.

Trifecta Tune*
The tune on this car is a custom tune done by Vince Geglia of Trifecta Performance out of Seattle, WA. The tune was properly data logged & tweaked in a multitude of driving conditions to ensure it is running optimally and in unison with the other modifications. It is a safe & conservative tune and puts the car at a modest ~300WHP & ~325WTQ on a Dynojet (PM me if you would like the links to many dyno sheets for nearly identical tunes). The tune is a selectable tune and as such it can be toggled on & off on the fly with the push of a button on the steering wheel (Cruise Control Button ON (but not set) = Factory Tune and OFF = Custom Tune) it’s a neat feature allowing you to have factory power levels for rainy & snowy days and an instant ~90HP and ~125TQ increase in power with the click of a button. There are literally hundreds upon hundreds of Cobalt SS-Turbo’s running around with Trifecta tunes, many of which are more aggressive then this tune without any issues, it truly is a great and safe tune it has actually been proven that the Factory GM Stage I tune (a dealer option) is leaner and more prone to pre-ignition/knock. This tune is a ‘stealth’ tune and as such is not detectable to the GM Tech-II Scan Tool that dealerships use to check the ECM/BCM, if however the buyer is concerned I do have access to a Trifecta Dealer Tuning Kit which would allow me to flash the car back to stock.

Yup it's been my daily driver. It really does quite well in the winter though with the Falken Tires, Stability Control, Traction Control and an LSD :thumbsup:
