Rolled my front fenders, all i used was a heat gun, hockey puck and a hammer worked quite well.

i also pulled the rear quarters. since u need the wheels you are fitting the pull i compromised and made some 1" spacers haha

i used the heat gun and phone book method and here are the results. Note: i removed my coilovers to have maximum "slamness" and i heated the quarters a lot! and gradually worked my way up to the amount of magazines u see in the picture.

Been a while since i last updated because well frankly not much has happen, however since its now spring its time to get the ball rolling. The car has finally been sent off to get the cage made/welded in and shortly after off to paint. i recieved my naca duct and began to retrofit it to the bumper.

not yet, my fuel pump came in thats about it. Im really getting on my body guys ass to finish my car already! i having custom flares being made in the rear to clear the wheels/tires because i dont want to run -4 degrees of camber... been there done that not a fan of buying tires every couple months. as soon as i get her back im pulling the whole suspension replacing all the rubber bushings then the motor can go in. i still need to figure out my brake line tuck and fuel tuck. so yeah i still got a ton of work lol

Those calipers are doable. you either need spacers behind the rotor or you have to mill the calipers or something.

got around to polishing my intake manifold, i am very happy with the results. this was my first time polishing aluminum so i was a little nervous but it turned out great!

Skunk 2 made a nice piece but it wasnt "silky smooth" enough for me haha

i did the same procedure with the ports. there were small bumps and imperfection on the inside of the ports so i started off my smoothing them out

Well ive been dreading updating my thread because so much has happned.... Well when I got back from school I had told my body guy that I needed the car and I was going to schedule a pick up. I went to his shop and no one was there... civic no where in sight.... call after call after call, nothing... My car and body guy where no where to be found, I got the police involved. fast forward a week this is how I received my vehicle back... this is very embarrassing for me to post but as they say, the show must go on...

I have no idea what he did but he managed to pull my rad support completely off the vehicle and tied it up with some wire. And to make it all worse he DAMAGED MY WHEEL!!! So far the new chassis looks great.

+1 on how are you applying that rust protection stuff? Considering it for some of my control arms. Rust inhib regular spray paint, I can see won't last. Even if I wire wheeled off all the old rust and paint.

the instructions say just to apply it directly onto rust, but that's not how I roll lol I grinded the rust away first, scuffed up the surface, then applied with a foam brush. I used three coats, the says minimum two coats, which take 2-6 hours to cure.

Now the the two line that come from the rear calipers that I need to cut and flare for the bulk head connectors I am confused on which flare I need. I was told that I need an AN flare tool which is an irregular 37 degree flare.... does anyone have experience with AN brake line bulk head connectors? any help will help thanks!

Got some more work done this weekend. Started test fitting my intercooler. I am not impressed at all by this kit. As expensive as it was i imagined it would be more "bolt on" than it is, but i guess i can do it how i want now.

as you can see, this kit was obviously made for optimum performance, not optimum fitment (enter sarcastic emoticon). I dont like how most people remove the front rebar to fit intercoolers, i am going to modify mine to fit

As you can see i cut the middle section out of the rebar and the locating sides so i can still be bolts to the car. ill be getting plates welded to the open sections of the two ends, then connect them with some bar. then ill need to fabricate some brackets to connect to the intercooler tabs and it will be good to go!

i picked up a carbon fiber hood, trimmed my front bumper for the intercooler. once everything is fabricated and bolted down ill be making some aluminium ducting for the intercooler and rad. i also test fit my J's racing fenders and this is how she sits. pretty dam sexy if you ask me :) more to come

Finished installing my rear extended wheel studs... unfortunately Hondas are built to rust so most of the bolts rounded off which meant i had to pull the whole rear trailing arms off to get them off.
Also i was finalizing the fitment on my Intercooler piping... or lack there of. the piping that came with the Full Race kit was terrible! Almost contact the right wheel and does not clear the bumper when installed, which led to this

37 pie cuts later heres what i got tacked together. I am extremeley happy with how it turned out. Got rid of the multiple silicone coupler connections and replaced them with a single pipe and two boost clamps. Old VS New

JK i have a set of 225 Dunlop ZII for cruising on my SSRs which are obviously not gonna cut it for the track. still havnt found a suitable tire/wheel set up for track. would like to run a 15 with some fat tires but im still undecided on my brake set up so wheel clearance is still up in the air at the moment.

Progress has slowed because of christmas, naturally, how ever i managed to removed and install my roll cage from the previous chasis to the new one.... in one peice!!! it was challenging to say the least but i managed to pull it off. She is off to the original cage maker to weld it back into place and extend it further to the front to make it a full 6 point cage. Once that is complete i will be sending it off to the body shop to have the interior and engine bay painted so final assembly of the engine and interior can begin!

I installed my CTR rebar. The aluminium sheet you see is actually a rear splitter that i made after cutting out the spare tire tub for allow for my diffuser to sit flat with the bottom of the car.

i tried a number of bolt on flares from miatas to AE86, the 86 flare was actually very close but they all moved the center of the wheel arch either forward or backwards and made the wheel look off center when mounted. i purchased a fenrder roller and went to town! i flattened the lip of the inside of the fenders 'paper thin', then progressively pulled the fender using pie cuts on the inside of the fender. i then shaped the inside of the wheel tub to fit the wheel. here are the results.

They actually fit now!!! the nice part is my suspension is almost fully lowered and my wheels fit inside the tub as they camber in! im also almost at zero camber right now so i still have some room to tweek my suspension settings. We shall see how these tires hold up traction wise, idealy on my track wheel i would like to try and fit a 245 wheel all around.

The color turned out way better than i expected and the body shop did a phenomenal job shaping my rear quarter panels from the aggressive pull, they told my the roof like was slightly distorted from the pull lol im extremely happy with how it turned out!
